Day 2

Brief summary of the day's events!
Set out this morning to spend some time with a church that a friend of ours attends in Newnan, GA. After talking to several members of the church, it was clear that their outlook was very gospel-centered, which was refreshing. We got a chance to interview the pastor, who turned out to be a legit guy with a heart for people. It was an encouraging morning!

In the afternoon we did a bit of sightseeing around a few Georgia towns before setting off on the road through the Deep South! Personally I was happy to get to visit three states I've never been to - Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana - before reaching our destination for tonight. Rest will be had at a tiny hotel about 40 minutes outside of New Orleans, and tomorrow we'll head into the city! We hope to find some more folks to interview in town, as well as get some insight into service/ministry/charity organizations and their work done there.
